The mystery plant for the month of March is a perennial with alternate leaves. The leaves are palmately compound with 11-17 leaflets. The flowers are blue in spike-like racemes up to 18 inches long. This plant is not native to RI. It is listed in Flora of New England as growing in every New England state except Rhode Island. I found this species growing in a field in Cumberland RI in 2018. This plant is invasive.
